Today, May 25, the fifty-fifth weekly meetup of Free TON representatives took place. It was attended by Ron Millow, Mitya Goroshevsky, Alexander Filatov, Joanna Eberhart, Roman D. This meetup was one of the shortest because most of the participants are at the AIBC Dubai conference.
Mitya Goroshevsky made a technical update about the problem with the master chain validators. The network stopped because the validators were not doing their job. In order for them to get back to work, the masternodes will need to be updated. He also spoke about the release of a new version of the ADNL transport protocol (with backward compatibility), on which the entire blockchain is based.
Traditionally, the participants of the meetup answered some of the audience’s questions. Mitya Goroshevsky received a question about increasing the prize fund of the Rust Cup contest, to which he replied that he would publish the corresponding proposal on the forum in the near future.
Roman D. demonstrated the Free TON project stand at the AIBC Dubai conference. He talked with representatives of the team, demonstrated the stands of other projects, including Nimbus and Tezos.
