Free TON Weekly Meetup #27. General updates for the past week

by lerika

Today, November 3, the twenty-seventh weekly meetup of Free TON representatives took place. It was attended by Ron Millow, Roman D., Mitya Goroshesky, and the representatives of the Broxus team.

Last Friday, the Free TON project distributed over 28 million TON Crystal tokens to partners, sub governances, and contest winners. This is the largest volume of tokens in the history of the project.

All new partnership proposals are reviewed by members of the Business Management and Analytics and Support subgovs. After reviewing the proposal, they post a collective opinion on the forum, after which the proposal is voted on by the community.

One of the proposals was a partnership with Cointelegraph. This information resource has views on decentralization similar to the Free TON ideology.

The project also received a partnership proposal from bitcoin.com, which was accepted with great enthusiasm by the community members.

As for the project itself, there was a proposal to create Mexican sub governance.

After the discussion of the proposals, Vladislav, a representative of the Broxus team, spoke about some of the problems with voting and the compliance of the current voting system with the Declaration on Decentralization.

At the end of the meetup, Free TON representatives answered the most interesting questions from viewers. Watch the full video of the stage on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqlltmIrIpE
