Free TON Weekly Meetup #25. Gov2.0 & voting

by lerika

Today, October 20, the twenty-fifth weekly meeting of Free TON representatives took place. It was attended by Ron Millow, Roman D., Mitya Goroshevsky.

On the Free TON website, in the proposals section, a guide for creating a partnership proposal can be found, which was mentioned during the meetup last week. The partnership proposal must be posted in the appropriate section at least 2 weeks prior to the expected start date of voting. It should also contain all information about the prospective partner and all statistical data about him. The proposal should also indicate your expectations from the Free TON project and what you are ready to offer in return. An indication of the budget and terms of cooperation is also a prerequisite for the placement of the venue. Otherwise, no proposer voting will take place.

The presenter for the jury competition for DGO Subgov was accepted. In the near future, competition will start to develop a design for this subgovernance. A competition for the development of SMV smart contracts will also be announced. Despite the fact that the TON.Labs team already has a solution for SMV smart contracts, there are still many unrealized tasks in this area, for example, such as integrating SMV smart contracts with C ++.

After that, the participants of the meetup answered the audience’s questions. You can watch the Q&A session on the official youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhFitJxeZsc
