Free TON Weekly Meetup #21. Vote process optimization

by lerika

Today, September 22, the twenty-first weekly meetup of Free TON representatives took place. It was attended by Roman D., Ron Millow, Mitya Goroshevsky, Kirill Ushakov, Mikhail Komarov.

The meetup began with Ron Millow announcing two new partnership proposals. This is good news because new partnerships will help bring new people into the Free TON community.

A new competition has also been announced – Free TON Positioning Essay. The essence of the competition is to create an article in which the participants must describe the project in their own words and tell about its features.

Then there was a presentation of ZKP (Zero Knowledge Proofs) updates from zk-SNARKs. Mikhail Komarov spoke on behalf of the team. He spoke about the points of the plan already implemented, about the new framework that will be implemented in Rust and C ++. Mikhail also shared a link to the GitHub repository, where anyone can follow the progress of the zk-SNARKs team, as well as find the necessary instructions for working with the code.

After that, Mitya Goroshevsky presented the updates on governance 2.0, also mentioning that if there are community members who want to help with the preparation of governance 2.0 documentation, then they need to write their resumes on the forum.
