Free TON Weekly Meetup #20. DeBots Presentation

by lerika

Today, September 15, the twentieth weekly meetup of Free TON representatives took place. It was attended by Nikita Monakhov, Pavel Prigolovko, Roman D., Mitya Goroshevsky, and Ron Millow.

As part of this anniversary meetup, a presentation of deBots took place. DeBot, a decentralized bot, is a smart contract that can be created to communicate with the user with the system. DeBot has a set of commands, which in the developer’s environment can be responded to with “0” and “1” answers, while in the user environment these answers can be represented as “yes” and “no” buttons and the like.

TON.Surf will soon support the function of deBots, which means that right from the wallet interface, the user will be able to interact with various deBots.

Then Nikita Monakhov demonstrated the source code of one of the deBots and explained how it works. Nikita’s speech starts at 22:30 in the video at the end of this article.

The meeting participants also discussed the options for using deBots in various projects and came to the conclusion that they can be used in any environment where a user dialogue with the system is provided: you need to select a product or service by parameters; submission of all kinds of applications and announcements.

Ron Millow noted that with the release of the Free TON deBots, he received many new partnership proposals, which will soon be voted on at the project’s forum.
